South County EMS (SoCEMS) is the first regional, municipal-based emergency medical "third service" system in Massachusetts.

Operating out of the southern Franklin County area, South County EMS is the primary agency for providing emergent and non-emergent EMS related services at the ALS level through full-time and per-diem staffing to the towns of Deerfield, Sunderland, and Whately, Massachusetts.

The primary service area of 70 square miles is home to approximately 13,000 residents, and includes major tourist and recreation attractions, multiple boarding schools, large industrial operations and significant intermodal transportation corridors.
